Why we are asking. In our
study on service quality we measured what
tourists say, through 3,062 reviews. For residents there is
no public data: ELSTAT publishes household spending on "restaurants and cafés"
at national level only, without a breakdown by region or island. Only a local survey can fill
that gap — and the questions below show how it could be done.
See also our ten proposals to the Municipal Tourism Committee, grounded in the same data.
This questionnaire is not currently collecting responses.
It is published as a template: it shows which questions are needed
to measure how often residents eat out and what holds them back. We offer it
to the Municipality and any body that would like to run the survey on a
representative sample. If you have comments on the questions,
get in touch.
